1809 Capped Bust Dime PCGS XF details...we grade ORIGINAL XF45

Out of stock
A Details coin on DKRC? Indeed. Let's just say it straight...PCGS doesn't always get every call right. My call on this coin is that it should grade XF45. Hear me out, even though you may not agree. This coin is GEM ORIGINAL. it is well struck. It has real luster. It has the color, surface quality (in general) and eye appeal that you and I both covet. It also has some surface marks, and they are the intentional kind, not from coin-to-coin contact. So, I get the grade. Technically, I don't fault PCGS here...they made the right technical call. But, life isn't technical. This coin has everything going for it...except for the scrapes above the cap and at S9 and 10. It's beautiful, totally original and appealing as heck. I still think it should have graded, but even in a details holder, it's more than nice enough for my website. Thanks for hearing me out.
