1811 O.109 Small 8 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS MS62+, ex. Davignon

This coin is simply beautiful. It may be a touch too deeply toned for some of you, in the same stunning, totally original way that some of the Eric Newman coins had spent a little too long in the brown envelopes. But, this one isn't "gone" at all. There is life and full luster under the incredibly pretty, original golden brown and wonderfully iridescent toning. Our pics hint at this in general, but cannot convey the specifics of the breathtaking shading and intensity of the color. This coin you really have to see in hand.
