A very choice, completely original example of this rare variety. This is an interesting rarity as well...it can be found with some success in low grades and with major problems. But, finding Choice VF and better examples...graded by PCGS...with great eye appeal and a complete lack pf problems? That simply doesn't happen very often. Here is just such a coin. Two high grade, "nice" coins have sold at public auction fairly recently: an NGC62 (that was called EAC45) in Goldberg Sept 2020, lot 122 for $25,200 (the same coin was sold in Mervis:2071, Heritage Jan 2014, $16,500), and the not-so-nice looking PCGS 58 at Stack's Bowers in 2015 ($6300). Before that...there wasn't one. A genuine opportunity for one lucky collector!
