1820 B.5 R5 Small 0 Capped Bust Quarter PCGS VF35

In stock
A very high grade example of this rare variety, likely just shy of the Condition Census, which seems to extend to XF40 examples. The quality here is excellent, the strike is full, the surfaces are smooth, there is soft, underlying luster and the eye appeal is wonderful. The toning is a lovely, antique patina, more than anything else. It is fairly easy to imagine this coin sitting undisturbed for a few generations in a desk or dresser drawer.
