1821 JR-7 Large Date Capped Bust Dime PCGS AU58

Out of stock
The whole package is here. This is a fully struck, early die state example, with every hair curl, wing feather and star point on display. The centering is perfect, and the dentils are full, bold and strong. The surfaces are smooth, nearly mark free, and awash in deep, rich luster. The toning is a lovely, medium antique gold that deepens just right towards the rims. There is even a bit of reflectivity to the surfaces. The eye appeal is outstanding. CAC didn't like something...though what it could have possibly been is well beyond my ability to imagine. For date, type or die variety collectors, you will not go wrong here.
