1821 O.103 Capped Bust Half Dollar NGC MS61

A truly uncirculated 1821 half dollar, not something that is easily found. There is complete luster under lovely if a bit off-the-beaten-path toning that I feel is from long storage in a paper envelope. For some of you, the toning may be a touch overdone,, but for most of you (I'm included in this group), the toning will be a thing of beauty. The luster, even while being a bit overshadowed by the antique toning, still cartwheels freely. The strike is exceptional. The originality is absolute. And, Unc earlier dates are really challenging to find. Here you go.
