1824/2 JR-2 R5+ Capped Bust Dime PCGS G6 CAC

CAC approved. This is the first example of 24 JR2 I've ever offered, and it's a nice and yet affordable one! I am very impressed with the rarity of this die variety. It is easy to spot - at least I think it's easy to spot...my mnemonics are "few and far between", which reminds me that D and S are spaced far apart in relation to JR1 - but really, really hard to locate! Alas, I did not cherrypick this one. It came to me just as you see it. OK by me! The coin is nice...light coin silver gray with generally smooth surfaces and no real issues. A few light marks are well within the expected range, and I think the coin makes a pretty good case for VG8. Whatever. It's rare, it's pleasing, it's affordable and it's CAC'd. Bet it won't last long!
