1824 O.117 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS MS66

For anyone after a no-excuses type coin, here is a great candidate.  The luster is deep, rich, intense and flows freely over every surface.  Those surfaces are virtually mark free, and even with a 10x glass, one must hunt to find anything in the way of marks.   The original, golden, russet and baby blue toning is breathtaking.  The strike, whiole not absolutely full, is pin-point in nearly all areas, with only slight weakness evident at the upper right obverse and 50C on the reverse...but each hair strand is precisely rendered.  This is a coin to savor, and return to again and again.  A monster.
