1826 C.1 Classic Head Half Cent PCGS MS64 BN CAC, PL Obv

CAC approved. A stunning, semi PL, original coin that I purchased raw out of a southern safe deposit box a short while ago. The strike is virtually full, with only stars 5, 6 and 7 showing weakness, but even they show the center....star 7 just barely, but it's there. The hair detail is complete in every nuance. The surfaces are hard, flat, smooth, and mildly reflective. The color is exceptional. The only flaw is a tiny darker patch of color, just outside stars 10 and 11. An absolutely ideal coin for a demanding collector.
