1827 O.127 R5 Square Base 2 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS XF45 CAC
CAC approved. Ready for this? Guess how many CAC-approved examples of 1827 O.127 appear in Steve Herrman's excellent sales database? In all grades combined?? If you guessed 2, or 3...you'd be wrong. There are ZERO. Now, I've specialized in Bust half dollars, both as a collector and a dealer, since 1984, and I know that fairly high grade, original, problem-free 127's are a real challenge. But even I'm surprised by that information. There is not a single CAC coin listed in the sales record. Well folks, here is a CAC-approved 1827 O.127, and not just any ole 127...a Choice XF45 one! A super special coin for a super special collection. This is Die State 127.1, per the BHNC's new die state handbook, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836", which is a very modest cost item, available right here on our website.
