If left to my own devices, I'd grade this coin XF40...but a REALLY nice XF40. Totally original, choice in every way, and a really tough R4 die variety too! Under very close scrutiny, I do see traces of a die crack above UNITED, so this may well be a 106.2, according to the brand new BHNC publication, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836"...which just happens to be available on our website right now!
