1829 O.116 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU58 (CAC)

Out of stock

CAC approved.  From the Montross Collection, earlier from the renowned collection of Keith Davignon, with his sticker attached.  A case could be made that this somewhat scarce variety should be a Redbook line item.  It has a medium letter reverse, while most of the reverse dies used in 1829 for half dollars had small letters.   Only one die, previously used in 1828, had large letters, and that variety is in the Redbook!  In any case, this coin is wonderfully choice, original and pleasing in every way.  No issues and the eye appeal is outstanding.
