Most examples of this very rare variety (a "Supplement" coin, discovered by Don Gunnet and long known as DG-1) have all manner of problems and issues. The PCGS Pop of 14 coins in all grades combined - including the prooflike, MS62 wonder coin in the Link collection - confirms that. This is a known example, recently replaced by a PCGS XF40 coin that I found and sold a few years back. This example is just what you want it to be...original, totally free of issues and with the fatal die bulge (the die was actually sinking, thus a huge bulge appears on the coin) in full flower. This isn't the latest die state though, as the smaller bulges in the right field are less well defined, and the die crack at the base of the date has yet to appear. There is no missing this very rare variety, even at a quick glance! As Henry Hilgard said to me over a 17-104 years ago..."there's no question why this is rare!"
