1832 O.118 Small Letters Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU58, ex. Prouty

A magnificent, totally original, steel gray-dirt example. From the superb collection of Gehring Prouty, and one of the many Prouty coins that I bought for my collection back in the summer of 2000. From me, it passed into a mid-western collection, from which I just bought it back. The Prouty flip has not survived unfortunately, but I promise...it's the real deal!
