1836 LM-5 Small 5C Capped Bust Half Dime PCGS MS64

In spite of the slab insert calling this a Large 5 (coin #4287), this is an LM-5, Small 5 variety (coin #4288). Well struck and fully lustrous, with beautiful, original golden toning. Likely to grade a notch higher but for an ancient, very shallow scratch on the portrait, which is easily seen iin our pics, but not so easily seen in hand. Priced to be a great value.
