1839 WB-5 with Drapery Seated Liberty Half Dollar NGC MS61

A real uncirculated 1839 Seated half dollar, and the first one I've ever handled. Unc 1839 Bust halves are available, but Seated are a whole different animal. And this coin is lovely. Fully and deeply lustrous, fully struck., beautifully toned, and with outstanding eye appeal. The eye appeal far outpaces the grade assigned, though on a technical level, the grade is right on. The coin has the luster and appeal of a Choice Unc though! I did not try to cross the coin, but I did send it to CAC, and was astonished to get it back sans sticker. I fully expect it to cross at grade...and then CAC!
