1841-O B.2/C Double Die Obverse Seated Liberty Quarter NGC MS62, New Orleans Bank Find

Here's a coin with much to recommend it! First, it is a lovely, original, fully lustrous and softly toned beauty. Second, it is a very cool and strong doubled die obverse die, a Briggs 2/C. Last but certainly not least, it was a part of the famous "New Orleans Bank Find", a 1982 discovery on a construction site in the Big Easy. Most of the coins found that day were environmentally damaged, and most of the ones we've seen have showed those issues clearly. This coin is an amazing exception!
