1852 N.14 RPD Braided Hair Cent PCGS MS63 BN OGH CAC

CAC approved, and one of my favorite OGH iterations, the Frame-Around Gen 2.1. These were made only from Oct to Dec 1989, and came immediately after the Doily. All of the Frame Around variants paved the way from the initial, non-stackable Rattler to the fundamental, stackable shape we have today. The added frames proved to be fragile and thus these are rarely found in great shape today,,,this one shows just a tiny bit of friction and crazing, but is fully intact. The coin is incredibly sweet, and shows rich chocolate brown luster with rose gold highlights. A magnificent coin in a cool, rare old holder.
