1865 Liberty Seated Half Dime ANACS AU55, ex. Steve Crain

i can certainly see why Steve Crain graded this rare coin MS62 (as you can see on his 2x2 holder, included with the coin). My grade is 58, and why ANACS settled on 55 is a bit of a mystery. But, you can call it whatever you wish when it belongs to you! The coin is smooth, original, lustrous, attractively toned, very well struck and problem free. Dies rotated as the business strikes want to be, and there is no questions that this is a business strike. Rare!
