1874 Arrows Seated Liberty Quarter NGC PR64 CAM CAC
CAC approved. Stunning eye appeal for the assigned grade. The surfaces are incredibly clean, super-smooth, show only truly trivial disturbances, are deeply mirrored and fully watery, and show no cloudiness, spotting or other distractions. The toning is original, very light and magnificent. A cool and rare coin for the finest type set...the Arrows quarters had a total proof mintage of only 1200 coins combined (500 in 1873 and 700 in 1874). The PCGS POP Report, as of 1/22/21, indicates that a mere 93 of the type have gotten a CAM designation in all grades combined, with 2 coins - of the type - getting a DCAM designation. In terms of CAC, there are only 19 of the type that wear the Green Bean.
