1896 Proof Indian Cent PCGS PR64 BN CAC

CAC approved. While I absolutely like proof copper that is wildly toned, a place in my heart is always reserved for proof copper that is simple...like this coin. It is a rich, medium honey golden brown with just a hint of the most subtle iridescence imaginable. The surfaces are smooth, the strike is full, the mirrors are completely intact and watery, and the eye appeal is outstanding for the assigned grade. A gem would certainly cost more, but may not provide more.
