A new, out-of-the-woodwork coin, sent to PCGS one time and - a bit surprisingly - to CAC without success. The coin is totally fresh and very nice, with original, medium steel gray toning with golden highlights. The luster is partially subdued by the thick, antique patina, but it's there when you go looking for it. The strike is excellent, the surfaces are clean and the appeal is significant. The True View is a touch lighter than the coin is in hand, and our pics are a touch darker than the coin is in hand.
