1925 Peace Dollar PCGS MS65

Here is something one doesn't see everyday...a real, Gem Unc Peace dollar in a 65 holder. And, it isn't a 1922 or 23. Not that such an animal is rare in any absolute sense. But, true gems are tougher by orders of magnitude than are Pre-1921 Morgans, and they are also tough to find in MS65 graded holders. In my opinion, back in the middle ages of slabbing, it was common to find Peace dollars over-graded buy a point or even 2 in gem holders, and many of those coins still exist today. Historically, that has hurt the prices of coins in gem holders, and made them appear to be more common than they are to the casual observer. But, even today it isn't actually easy to go find a REAL GEM in a 65 holder! Here is one.
