1948-D Washington Quarter PCGS MS67+ CAC WOW!! toning

CAC approved. Yes, the price is a bit salty, but every aspect of this coin is top-notch. There are only 20 in 67+, with none graded higher by PCGS (there are 2 NGC 68's). We don't know how many of the 20 have CAC approval, as CAC doesn't list + grades separately, but a few of these have sold in the past couple of years. This example blows away the David Lawrence (3/2020) example, as well as the Heritage coins from June 2019 and June 2018. In my humble opinion, it is virtually on eye appeal par with the Pogue coin (Stack's, 3/2020) and the Heritage, Jan 2019 coins, each of which sold for well over $4k. The eye appeal offered here is breathtaking.
