1826 O.116a Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU55, ex. Davignon, Revier

A bit of splotchy, darker toning is seen on the reverse, but it is so natural -mingled with more typical, golden-gray dirt and underscored with outstanding luster - that I don't mind it one tiny bit. The coin is lovely, and absolutely original. Most recently from the renowned collection of Keith Davignon, who got it from the Jan 2006 auction of the Jules Reiver coins. Jules, in turn, bought it from Stack's in 1988. Now, on to your great collection!
