Library of Coins Volume 49, Early Silver Dollars (1794-1803). In my experience, this is the grand-daddy of LOC albums...not only the hardest to find, but the hardest to find nice as well. If LOC albums have a weakness, it is the binding. Dollars, being as heavy as they are, put a great deal of strain on the binding, particularly the spine, and thus we tend to find any dollar albums with weak spines. Not here. This album has been lightly and carefully used. The interior is totally unmarked, the spine is solid, the spine printing is fresh, and the covers are clean. There is a tiny bit of spotting here and there on the binding tape, but no significant issues. One very minor interior tear that could easily be repaired. A very presentable and rare album.
