1827 O.121 Very Early Die State Square Base 2 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU53

A nice, crusty, antique toned AU with a great strike and underlying luster. There is a slightly distracting darker toning area in front of the nose, but the real hook here is for die state collectors...this early a 27-121 is a very unusual pup! This variety is generally found with only a hint of obverse dentils...at best! Here they are full, bold and very well defined.
