1796 JR-4 R4 Draped Bust Dime PCGS VG8

This coin is virtually perfect. I've never had a finer quality 1796 dime in VG in stock, and - quite frankly - I am stuck even imagining a finer one exists. This coin simply circulated for a number of years, and then was put away and treated with respect from that day on. It has suffered of the myriad indignities that these have generally been subjected to, and that, by itself, is enough to make one wonder. Where the heck has this coin been all that time? You might ask what I've wondered myself...where is the CAC sticker? I cannot for the life of me explain why this coin didn't pass muster at CAC, but it did not. When you see the coin in hand, you'll do exactly what I did...shake your head in amazement.
