1804 C.13 Plain 4, No Stems Draped Bust Half Cent PCGS XF40 CAC PQ+

CAC approved. Our pics show this coin a bit too darkly, a touch too contrasty and with slightly less than perfect, chocolate brown color. Aside from an ancient, tiny contact mark on the right obverse rim - which really is trivial, in my estimation - the coin is virtually perfect, and I expected an XF45 grade. The highest priase I can give an early copper is: "brown and smooth".  This coin is brown and smooth.  Exceptional quality, originality and eye appeal.
