A very late die state of the 1806 O.111a, missing only the crack from S11 to neck to qualify for full “b” die state status. This important coin was formerly in the collections of Brad Higgins and Daniel Stepan, both noted Draped Bust half dollar die state specialists. The coin itself is lovely, original, wonderfully pleasing, and free of issues. The rich, antique golden gray toning is superb.
