1808 O.110a R4 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS XF40 CAC

It is crusty, original, extremely well preserved and beautiful. The antique, deep golden gray patina is lovely, it is alive with hidden bits of luster and the surface quality is outstanding. Top notch eye appeal. This is likely to be your forever 08-110. It sure would have been mine! I find precious few CAC-approved examples of the a die state in the sale record. Two, in fact...one 35 and one 53. The most recent sale of a CAC approved 08-110 was an early die state sold by Downey in Jan 2020. That PCGS VF35 CAC coin sold for $1239.
