1810 O.103 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS XF40

Out of stock
Not a perfect coin, but pretty darn close. There is a large rim ding that is clearly seen in the True View, but is mostly hidden by one of the holder tabs. Otherwise, the coin is exceptional! Original, solidly lustrous, actually well struck for this typically very weak variety and beautifully toned. Not sent to CAC due to the pause in submissions. This is Die State 103.1, per the BHNC's new die state handbook, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836", which is a very modest cost item, available right here on our website.
