1812/1 O.102 Small 8 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS VF25 CAC, ex. Brunner

CAC approved. From the Lane Brunner collection, earlier from us. A superb coin in every respect. Here is a VF25 with the eye appeal, originality and surface quality of a really nice XF! Please see our Numismatic Literature section, and get your copy today! Dr. Lane J. Brunner was a great friend and customer of DKRC for many years. He was a very accomplished person, and was most recently the Founding Dean of the School of Pharmacy at University of Texas, Tyler. He collected many things, but Bust half dollars were his true love. He assembled a collection of nearly 650 of them, including 440 die varieties, as well as many rare die states. His coins are uniformly choice and pleasing, with virtually all being PCGS graded, and more than half CAC approved as well. We mourn his passing at a very young age and miss him greatly, but we are honored to be handling the sale of the entire collection for his family.
