1814 S.295 Plain 4 Classic Head Cent PCGS AU53, EJ p3

Somehow - amazingly - not CAC approved. Virtually all, long-time, serious numismatists know how hard is it to find any Classic Head cent that is "brown and smooth". Here is just such a coin, but this one takes that simple statement of quality a couple steps further. It is magnificent. The EJ collector searched high and low for 20 years before finding this lovely coin. CAC must've had some minor quarrel with the grade assigned, as they simply couldn't not have liked the quality or originality. I have no quarrel of any sort, and I don;t think you will either.
