CAC approved. First things first...the PCGS True View is absolutely awful. Honestly, it almost seems they would have had to try to make it this bad. That is a trend we've been seeing, and we sure hope they get back on track. Soon. PCGS TV used to be pretty darn good as a rule. Now? Not so much. The good news is that the coin looks just as our pics show it. Extremely pleasing. Well struck (for one of these). Beautifully preserved, softly lustrous, just a touch of gloss and with outstanding, antique golden gray toning highlighted with subtle baby blue. This is Die State 101.4, per the BHNC's new die state handbook, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836", which is a very modest cost item, available right here on our website.
