A tiny planchet flaw is found at the upper reverse - atop T3 - and this may be considered a "problem" by some observers. Though, that is the way the coin came from the US Mint, and I find it quite interesting rather than problematic. But, the rest of the coin is fabulous for the assigned grade, and, of course, this is an 1820 half dollar...the 3rd lowest mintage year in this incredibly popular series! This is Die State 105.1, per the BHNC's new die state handbook, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836", which is a very modest cost item, available right here on our website.
