1821 O.102 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU58 CAC
CAC approved. The True View, quite frankly, is absolutely awful. The worst one I've seen in quite some time in fact. Which is unusual...they are generally pretty good. Our pics are a very decent representation, but the coin in hand looks a good bit better. It is fully lustrous and very well struck under crusty, original antique golden gray toning. There is essentially full cartwheel, and the coin comes alive as you rotate it under a light. You will love it! And, 1821 is not an easy date to find thus...but here one is! This is Die State 102.1, per the BHNC's new die state handbook, "Die State Progressions of the Capped Bust Half Dollar Die Varieties 1807-1836", which is a very modest cost item, available right here on our website.
