1822 N.4 Coronet Head Cent PCGS AU58

This coin did not get approved by CAC, but I have no earthly understanding of how that could possibly be. Our pics show a bit too much contrast, thus the coin looks much better in hand...smooth, even, totally natural, absolutely original and with essentially full, soft, satiny luster. The strike is full, the surfaces are baby's-bottom smooth, and the eye appeal is outstanding. For date or type - no matter CAC's opinion - you will love this coin.
