1824 Over Various Dates O.103 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU53, ex. Witham, Bugert

From the important collection of Bill Bugert, of Seated half dollar expert/author fame. Bill, being a long-time friend of DKRC, recently sold us portions of his collection, reflecting a literal lifetime of acquisition and study...some of the coins have been in the Bugert collection for 50 years! This is an excellent example of this scarce and interesting variety, earlier from the Stewart P. Witham collection (BHNC #1). Bill bought this one from us, in Jan 2014.
