1827 JR-11 Capped Bust Dime PCGS F15 CAC, ex. Bill Bugert
CAC approved. Bill Bugert, a long-time friend of DKRC and The Seated Half Dollar Guru, collected many US coin series, among them Large size Capped Bust dimes, by die variety. And he had most of them! We bought that collection, along with Bill's date set of Bust halves, his complete, business strike Trade dollar set, a nice run of Capped bust half dimes and a few other various coins, several months back. Nearly everything but a few of his really choice Bust dimes has been sold...I held a few back because I liked them too much to let go! But the time has come. This coin is really sweet. The surfaces smooth and very pleasing, the toning is original and lovely, there are hints of luster to be found,,and the eye appeal is stunning for the assigned grade...which is spot-on, but the coin appeals like a Choice VF would. Bill bought this from Hallmark (David Hall from TN, not PCGS David Hall), March 2014.
