CAC approved. First, let me say as clearly as I can...the True View of this coin is simply awful. Or worse! The coin looks nothing like that, in any way...period! It is really a wonder that they could make it so far off. The coin is lovely, and it looks very much like our pictures. It is crusty, choice, completely original, well struck and retains nearly full, soft luster under the rich, antique patina. There are a couple of ancient scrapes...one above the cap and a couple short ones on the reverse, but they are of very limited impact, and do not distract me from appreciating the magnificent beauty of this coin. For those working on a CAC-approved Everyman Registry set, this is one of only 11 such '27 Curl Base coins available, the last of which sold at public auction 4 years ago. Opportunity?
