From the Steve Crain collection of US Half dimes, sold by David Perkins in 2020. Dave described the coin (Lot CF06) thusly:
LOT CF06: 1830 LM-4.2, R-2. PCGS AU55 (37491699). This coin certainly
has some frequent flyer miles. We know it started its life in Philadelphia and a
hundred-plus years later spent some time in Florida (thus, the NGC AU55
label). In 2011, Steve purchased this half dime in Chicago, then brought it
home to Maine, where it was freed from its Florida souvenir label. We sent it
to California, where it picked up its current AU55 label. In hand, the toning is
light. The die remarriage is confirmed with the presence of reverse clash marks
and a tiny die chip in the upper loop of S2.
