I was expecting AU53 to be perfectly frank...this is actually an EAC 45 all day long! The coin is simply splendid. As the old-timers I learned from would say, "brown and smooth"...which was the highest praise they would ever offer to a copper coin. I would add, softly lustrous, as well. Oh, and original too.
