Formerly lot 343 in Bowers & Ruddy's Oct 1978 Robert C. Hall Estate sale, and hidden away in an important East Coast collection since. Dipped to full brilliance back in the 60's or 70's, though not really to its detriment. The luster is full, the strike is full and there is a good measure of prooflike reflectivity as well. An impressive coin and a great value too!
