1832 O.109 R4 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU55 CAC, ex. Greer, Midwest, Kahn

CAC approved. I purchased this coin - raw - for my collection of Capped Bust half dollars from Brian Greer, in approximately 1995. I held the coin as my set piece until transferring it to the Midwest Collection about 2008. We were very fortunate to have just bought it back from that source. Frankly, I thought long and hard about putting it away in my box of 20, but I found nothing I was willing to remove. But maybe I should rethink that!  While 32-109 is an "easy" R4, just try finding one in Choice AU or better!  Let me simplify that a bit...it's really difficult and will produce way more disappointment and frustration than real coins. This coin is o-r-i-g-i-n-a-l.
