1833 LM-9 Capped Bust Half Dime PCGS AU58 CAC

CAC approved. A stunning, totally original, gray-dirt beauty! While there are a couple of contact marks, there is nothing that distracts me from the incredible, antique patina that is alive with underlying luster. I would love a stronger central strike, but that's the way these were made...check out the pic of an early die state in the half dime book (p.242). My coin is a bit later die state, with a bolder obverse die crack, thus further bluntness is to be expected.
