A very pleasing, honey-golden brown cent with an interesting pedigree, all memorialized on the ancient kraft envelope included here. Noted as, "Stacks - Mrs. H. Ford-12/7/51" and on a different line, "L299", which I presume to be lot 299. I do not have that catalog in my library to refer to. The back of the envelope indicates further that this was from Horace M. Grant on March 14, 1939. All notes appear to be in fountain pen, typical of the period. The envelope also notes a double outline on forehead and lips, but this I do not see.
