1836 O.121 R5+ Lettered Edge Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS VF30

A really spectacular, Choice VF example of the variety that gets my vote as the toughest of all the R5's. I've been searching for rarities in Bust half dollars since 1984 (39 years, by my count), and have found a small number of these...very few indeed. And never as nice, original and pretty as this one, which, for the record, I did not find. But I bought it from the guy who did! This very rare coin may well be a member of your collection for a long time. Improving it is gonna be piece of work!
