CAC approved (and Eagle Eye as well) and contained in an Old, Green label Holder. Long considered a Pattern, this is now listed in the Redbook as a Regular issue coin, with a mintage of 1000. You'll find dissent about that, but being in the Redbook can't be a bad thing for the demand side of the equation. Seems like a ground-floor opportunity! The coin is lovely. Fully struck, totally original, free of all but the most trivial spots, magnificently toned and deeply lustrous. Popular Pointed Bust type of 1860, appears to be Snow Die Pair 1. Rick Snow discusses this issue further in his 3rd ed reference, p171.
