A few truly tiny marks are scattered about - heck, the coin is smaller than a 3cS, so how big could those marks actually be!? - but this thing is flat-out cool. Incredibly prooflike, very well struck and a beautiful, deep harvest gold color. One of only 2 gems graded non-PL, in addition to the 2 gems graded PL. A spotted, non-PL PCGS 65 sold in March 2021 for $2160. Before that, you have to go back to 2010 to find another public sale of a gem non-PL (actually the same coin that sold in 2021). I cannot find any PL designated example having sold at public auction.
